Hey, I’m Sabira!
Qualified corporate lawyer and your very own research-obsessed, virtual personal shopper.
Do you find that shopping for products can be somewhat overwhelming? Have you ever bought a product on a whim only to return it moments later or instead regret having wasted your money? Do you wish you had the time and energy to carry out even a bit of research on the market leading products available to you, that you currently have no idea about? Wouldn’t the answer to all your shopping woes be solved if there were just some sort of outlet that simply laid out the industries elite, following hours of due diligence?
WELCOME TO THAT OUTLET!
Now I don’t know about you, but I personally find it so hard to keep up with all the latest trends, new product releases and influencer favourites. But honestly speaking, I’ve never really cared much for them. To me, it’s always been about purchasing the best rated products on the market, which I discover after carrying out some seriously rigorous and extensive research.
The best rated products you ask? You know, those with record sales and unbeatable specs, that are consistently flying off the shelves within 5 minutes of being restocked (and often leaving you WAITLISTED at times!) due to their ever loyal cult following, and then backed by thousands and thousands of raving reviews! The ‘super-sellers‘ if you will. I want THOSE products in my life and I’m here to help you busy people discover them too (because really, who doesn’t want the best?).
My belief when it comes to shopping is simple: Shopping is an investment. Shop smarter in order to invest in the best. My goal is to help you do just that by turning your shopping woes into wins, saving you (a lot!) of time and money in the future.
Time is so valuable and convenience is therefore key. So say goodbye to all those hours spent browsing and replace them with your daily dose of Haul of Fame.
I’m a qualified corporate mergers & acquisitions lawyer who worked in the City of London at an international law firm for five years, clocking 15-hour days (sometimes more!) on average. I then decided to move to a wonderful town called Solihull in the West Midlands to get away from The Big Smoke, settle down and start a family. Hands down, the best decision I have EVER made!
After having my daughter, I was dreading the idea of going back to a job where I’d have to work such relentless hours at the expense of precious family time. I then had the ultimate lightbulb moment and decided to turn my passion for smart shopping into a business and this is how Haul of Fame was born.
Present day – I’m a very content and hands-on mum to a beautiful little girl, married to my best friend, loving and living my best life and running my very own business! Avid researcher, baking enthusiast, obsessed with self-care and anything personal development related.
You can check out my hero products that I’m forever recommending on our shop page under Sabira’s favourites.
The Smart Shopper
I’ve built Haul of Fame around my obsession with discovering the market leading products within the three industries I find myself mainly shopping in; beauty, home and parenting. I once made the mistake of shopping without doing any prior research and after realising that they were ALL major fails (e.g. foundation oxidising minutes after application, new pillows turning flat as a pancake despite being marketed as medium/firm and an expensive moisturiser that made me break out horrendously), I made sure to never let that happen again.
Ever since that experience, I became what I like to call a smart shopper. My personal take on frugal shopping meaning, instead of always buying the cheapest products, I instead search for days to discover market leaders, researching high and low in order to find the super-sellers of a particular category.
For example, if you’re looking for a moisturiser for your very dry skin and you pick up any cheap moisturiser that you think will do the job (because you’re trying to be frugal), you’ll probably end up going through more of that moisturiser as you’d essentially be using more product to address your dry skin concerns. So that moisturiser may only last you a month, for instance. OR alternatively, that moisturiser may be the wrong match altogether for your skin type and may even end up in the bin, wasting 100% of your money.
Instead, purchasing a market leading moisturiser, specifically targeted at dry skin (whether it be budget or high end), will last you a LOT longer as it may be infused with hyaluronic acid (a moisture boosting and retaining ingredient) and/or may have a very rich consistency and so a little would go a long way, thereby lasting you much longer.
That, my friends, is what I call smart shopping.
Investing in the best whilst also being frugal with your spending, which may (or may not) require you to spend a little more now, but save a lot more over time.
